Ian Grettenberger- Entomologist, PhD Student

Ian Grettenberger, an entomology PhD student, examines small insects underneath a microscope in the Merkle Laboratory at Penn State's University Park. The insects are collected by doing sweeps, which is a process of sweeping foliage with a heavy net to capture insects. The collection of insects was gathered at the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research farm at Rock Springs. Photo by Steve Osborn
